Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our hosts and transferred to your hotel (early check in will be arranged- subject to availability). You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your leisure, and later, join your hosts for a welcome dinner (included) at one of their favourite local restaurants

Sit back and enjoy the bustling energy of Kathmandu as you journey to the city's outskirts. Savour the flavours of Nepal with delicious curries and lentils served in traditional brassware—why settle for ordinary plates when you can dine like a local! Bhaktapur is a feast for the senses, offering a full-day adventure through its vibrant sights, scents, and tastes—the perfect way to kick off your Nepali adventure

On arrival in Nepalganj you will take a three-hour drive to the start of your float trip into Bardia National Park. After a safety briefing, you will be all set for a self contained, 60-mile river adventure through prime tiger territory. For those with a fly rod in hand, there’s plenty to cast for: Golden Mahseer, Indian trout, and the elusive native snakehead. Anglers are welcome to fish from the rafts with two anglers to a raft during the float trip. 

Overnight camping - single occupancy

Enjoy two nights of floating and camping in one of Nepal's top tiger reserves. Float along untouched river stretches of the Babai river protected by the Nepalese army, which only allow small-group eco-tourism experiences. Your adventure includes staying in fly camps on the riverbanks, with over 15 crew members making sure you are well taken care of while you pursue angling adventures and wildlife sights with your seasoned team of guides that include FFI certified Misty Dhillon, Dr. Denis Shrestha and Ramesh Singh, a seasoned naturalist

Overnight camping - single occupancy

You will end your float trip adventure by the afternoon and make your way to the deluxe Tiger Tops Lodge, where you can enjoy mouth-watering meals while sat on the edge of the park

Head out for two days of fishing adventures in different areas of the park with our expert guides. The area is well known for it excellent Mahseer fishing along with a range of other species. You will have the chance to encounter rare wildlife and enjoy incredible bird-watching. The best sightings are usually at dawn and dusk, but don’t count out those afternoon surprises—the Terai grasslands love to keep you guessing!

Return to the deluxe amenities at Tiger Tops and overnight in a twin room

After a morning fishing you will bid farewell to your hosts at Tiger Tops, and then enjoy a comfortable chauffeured ride back to the Nepalganj airport. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, your designated driver will be there to welcome you and escort you to your hotel

Following breakfast you will be chauffeured to the airport to board your
flight back home. Your hosts will be on stand-by to make sure you make your
flight or onward extension itinerary on time.
